Captain Scott
Walleye fishing on the Saginaw Bay aboard the Rock N' Reel with me, Capt. Scott, is bound to be an enjoyable day on the water! I grew up fishing with both of my grandfathers on inland lakes in Canada. Since then, I've continued to spend countless hours (days!) on the water and enjoy every moment!

I passed the Coast Guard Captain's test in 2009 and immediately started chartering for walleye on the Saginaw Bay!
Captain Zak
Fishing has been a passion since a young age, and after getting to know Capt. Scott, I knew that captaining fishing charters was in my near future! I've spent the last few summers aboard the Rock N' Reel, learning more about walleye, the water, and the role of Captain.

I passed the Coast Guard Captain's test in 2021 and jumped into learning the most I can from Capt. Scott!

Rock N' Reel 2.0
The RNR is a 30' Hydrasports VX fiberglass boat powered by twin 250hp Yamaha four stroke outboards- offering one of the quietest (& fastest!) rides out to the Bay. Hydrasport boats have a Kevlar reinforced hull & are built for the tough offshore fishing trips in the Atlantic. RNR handles the Saginaw Bay with ease, with all of the safety features that are required by the US Coast Guard & the DNR. It is equipped with the latest Raymarine electronics & safety gear. For convenience, there are private restroom facilities aboard.

BAY CITY YACHT CLUB
The Rock ‘N’ Reel 2.0 is slipped at the Bay City Yacht Club, at the mouth of Saginaw Bay– just minutes away from a great fishing experience. Be prepared for a great day on the water. We can’t wait to have you on board!

The Skeeter
The Skeeter is a 20' Skeeter WX2060. Combined with its larger, deeper hull design, the Skeeter’s 250hp Yamaha outboard will take us where we want to go quickly. The deeper gunnels ensure safety & security in the deep wide cockpit, & spread out in comfort with plenty of room. It is equipped with the latest electronics & safety gear. The Skeeter is great for taking advantage of spring & fall fisheries, in the rivers & on the Bay when RNR is put away.

SEAS THE DAY
If weather is of concern, consideration of safety is most important. If I cancel a trip & we cannot reschedule, you will get a full refund. If we are on the water & weather moves in, I will respond in a manner that puts safety first. There are no fish worth risking your life for!
